La Vallouise is an ideal area for discovering and enjoying cross-country skiing.
The variety of trails that are perfectly groomed by the Nordic en Vallouise Association means that beginners can learn in the sunshine of the Vallouise plain or in the introductory circuit in Pelvoux.
Once you have acquired the basic techniques, there are many itineraries that will enable you to explore the groomed areas: the Onde Valley, the Gyr trail between Pelvoux and Vallouise, the trails at the Pelvoux ski resort towards Ailefroide, the trail linking Vallouise and Les Vigneaux.
Most of the trails run alongside the river, which contributes to the quality of the snow and the beauty of any outing.
