See below what he has to offer so that you can explore the mountains:
OUR SKI TOURING COURSES
The Pays des Écrins has a multitude of ski touring routes that are not very busy and are perfect for an introduction to ski touring.
The summits are between 2700 m and 3000 m at most. There are breathtaking views of the Écrins massif’s high mountains.
Over two or four days, our guides invite you to explore everything, advising you on the techniques for progressing in powder snow. They will teach you how to use the specific ski touring equipment and will introduce to nivology as well as the use of safety equipment.

OUR OFF-PISTE SKIING COURSES
The programme includes, steep slopes, corridors, and skiing through the woods not far from the lifts.
We will use them to limit the upward climb.
Roc Odyssée offers 2 or 4-day courses around the most beautiful off-piste routes in the Briançon area during which you will discover the free ride itineraries in Puy Saint Vincent, Pelvoux, Serre Chevalier and, of course, the valleys from la Meije to La Grave.

SNOWSHOEING OUTING
Would you like a ‘home-made’ route?
Trust our mountain guide who has concocted the best snowshoeing itinerary in the Pays des Écrins.
Don’t forget your binoculars. Chamois, birds of prey, stoats and even wolves can often be seen. Wolves have been present in our valleys for the last ten years or so. If you don’t see the animal itself, you will see its footprints in the snow.
With well-thought stages, the Hautes-Alpes’ blue sky and a guide who will lead you to the heights, your experience of the mountains in winter will be unforgettable.

ICE FALLS
Roc Odyssée can organise immersion in the ice palaces of the Pays des Écrins.
Our two- or four-day courses are aimed at those who would like a gentle introduction to ice-climbing.
You will discover the main Fournel, Freissinières and Ceillac sites. Your guide will provide the necessary guidance so that you can progress easily and safely on the fragile yet strong ice.

‘PRIVATE ENGAGEMENT’ OUTINGS
Private engagement of a mountain guide means you can choose the date and the ski touring or off-piste course that you want, as well as your climbing companions.
Your chances of success are optimised as you are alone with your guide or the people you have chosen because you know they have the same goal as you.
WHAT IS ROC ODYSSEE?
It is an association of mountain leaders in the Briançon area, created in order to offer mountaineering, climbing, ski touring, off-piste, ice-climbing and snowshoeing courses.
Pedagogy, passion and professionalism are the three main qualities that Roc Odyssée guides share.
We set up all-inclusive courses (including accommodation, supervision and access to the lifts necessary for the course).
