Alpine skiing is the flagship activity of winter sports. To do this activity, some will need a few ski lessons to get started or just to improve. The Pays des Écrins has three ski schools to assist you in your endeavours. The ski school instructors will help and guide you during your skiing holiday.

Alpine skiing is open to all from as young as age three. For the younger participants, lessons take place in the snow garden where your toddlers will enjoy sliding in a fun manner and more especially suitable to their age. For older participants, the slopes will be possible as soon as they know how to use a lift such as a ski lift. The snowplough turn is the first step in order to descend the first green slopes of the resorts in the Pays des Écrins. Experienced skiers will be able to make the most of the entire resort.
