The Narreyroux valley
An unspoilt area worth visiting
Narreyroux is a must during your stay in Puy Saint Vincent. You will visit an untouched valley where the scenery is exceptional. The hamlet is easy to reach in summer but requires a little more patience during the winter months.
There are two start points to reach the hamlet. The first starts from the Maison du Miel, on the road towards Puy Saint Vincent 1600 m. From here it takes a good two hours of snowshoeing or ski touring. The route is surprisingly calm makes its way through forests.
The second start point is between Puy Saint Vincent 1600 m and 1800 m (La Chaumière bend).
For this route, snowshoes are recommended. You will go through larch forests and have an amazing view of the Écrins’ beautiful summits.
You will then arrive in an authentic hamlet with wooden chalets that bear witness to architectural mountain heritage. A pleasure for the eyes. Here, you will feel as if you are all alone! Enjoy!
Touring and off-piste itineraries
The Narreyroux Valley is also known for its ski touring itineraries like the Col de Bal. It is also known for the off-piste route of the same name.
