The Pays des Écrins has many remarkable sites that have made it well-known and set it apart as a destination with breathtaking natural values.
THE EYCHAUDA VALLEY
A magnificent valley at the edge of the Écrins National Park. At an altitude of 1700 m, it is the start point for great outings.
At one time, this hamlet was inhabited in the summer. Now, however, most of the lovely stone chalets are holiday homes.
The former dairy has resumed service as a refreshment bar, where Céline welcomes you from June to September: her omelettes are delicious!
You will also discover a lovely little chapel in honour of Saint Jean.
Start of hikes towards the Eychauda Lake, the Col de l’Eychauda, Cucumelle, Col de la Pisse and Clot la Selle.
