Two producers have the ‘Agriculture Biologique en Vallouise’ (organic produce) label: the GAEC des Mille Verts and the GAEC d’EÏbans in the Villard de Vallouise.

The GAEC des Mille Verts is a small, organic soft fruit and vegetable farm. They sell at the farm from mid-July to the end of September, Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. They are also referenced Nature et Progrès.

The GAEC d’Eïbans run by Jean Baptiste Martin and Amélie Griveau is also based in the Villard of Vallouise, and raises brigasque ewes, a dairy species from the PACA region. With the ewes’ milk, they produce yogurts (natural, verbena, genepy, hyssop, vanilla) as well as different types of cheese, cottage cheese and fresh cheese.

They also sell suckling lamb and mats woven with wool from their sheep.

Sales at the farm on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
