A holiday in La Vallouise is synonymous with hiking in the heart of the Écrins National Park and discovering the wealth of fauna and flora.
Whether you are looking for a fun outing or a longer hike lasting several days, La Vallouise is the ideal destination where everyone will find something to suit them.
ÉCRINS NATIONAL PARK
DISCOVER THE PARK
The Écrins National Park is an ideal destination for hiking with family, friends or other athletes.
We encourage you to visit the Park website ‘Rando Ecrins’ that promotes the different itineraries to follow on foot or by MTB. There are roughly 100 routes and 800 heritage elements that are illustrated in text and images.
The site also offers a dynamic map, 3D navigation, GPS tracking and a free service to export printable hiking files.
A mobile application, which came into operation in early 2015, means you can take your itinerary with you and navigate in GPS mode using your smartphone or your tablet.
CALL ON A PROFESSIONAL TO DISCOVER THE PARK DIFFERENTLY
Visiting the Écrins National Park with a mountain professional means you will explore it in a different manner and you will be able to visit secret spots that are less well known by the general public.
You can choose between a mountain guide and a high mountain guide.
A mountain guide is a nature expert with a vast knowledge of the fauna and flora and is passionate about the trails and the mountain way of life.
A high mountain guide’s approach is different as he will lead you to reach the summits, roam over glaciers and will introduce you to mountaineering, on skis or on foot depending on the season.
VISIT THE ÉCRINS NATIONAL PARK CENTRE IN VALLOUISE.
